The inspiration for Zo Astrain came via a dream. In this dream, my grandfather, who passed away over 30 years ago visited me at my parent's house. He was in his early 20's, and he kept telling me how much he loved my music. He later asked if he could hear something new. We then went to my room and I hit play on my latest session. This is the song that played. I woke up and immediately attempted to recreate the song verbatim, however, dreams as magical as they are, their also elusive.
